upper Snake River Level 1 Watershed Study - 2016
In November, 2016, Teton Conservation District (TCD), with funding from the Wyoming Water Development Office (WWDO), completed a watershed study in the Upper Snake River Basin. The purpose of the study was to evaluate watershed conditions, needs, and opportunities on irrigated lands, range lands, wetlands and streams. The result of the study was a watershed plan created by the project consultants, Olsson Associates, outlining possible land and water improvements that could be made in partnership with landowners.

Landowners can submit project proposals to TCD to determine whether the project may be eligible for partial funding from WWDO. Potential types of projects include: water and land improvements, irrigation rehabilitation, livestock and wildlife water development, and stream enhancement.
