Interested in learning more about E. coli and fecal pollution in Fish and Flat Creeks? University of Wyoming graduate student, Kelsey Ruehling, spent last summer sampling the creeks to identify and quantify sources of fecal pollution. A study investigating sources of pollution hasn’t occurred in this watershed since 2003, and Kelsey employed bacterial community-based methods that have never been used here before. Learn about the preliminary results of this exciting research at Kelsey’s virtual presentation (Zoom invitation below) on May 26 at 5pm. Teton Conservation District supported this research with grant funding.
