Groundwater Monitoring Network

For several years the State Engineer's Office, together with other State, Federal and local agencies, has been involved in a ground water study in the Wilson, Wyoming area, where the residents alleged that changes in the general hydrology of the area were causing an increase in local ground water levels.

In 2009 Teton County and the Teton Conservation District assumed responsibility for the monitoring well network and installed pressure transducers in order to continuously monitor groundwater levels and temperature.
