The overall purpose of the Flat Creek watershed planning process is to restore water and habitat quality in Flat Creek and its tributaries to meet the state’s designated uses for the waterbody and to achieve the goals identified by the stakeholders in the watershed.

This Handbook has been facilitated by Teton Conservation District (TCD), with written contributions from numerous local agencies, organizations, and individuals. Please note the contributors on the credited in each section. TCD received a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region VIII to develop and disseminate this Handbook as part of a number of education and demonstration projects designed to protect natural resources.
